Make a Bequest

A gift for the future.

Thank you for considering leaving a gift in your will to Homeless Healthcare to help the health of homeless and marginalised people.

Your thoughtful gift will be used to provide vital physical and mental health care for those who are in need and often have nowhere else to turn.

Homeless Healthcare can accept bequests of various types including:

  • A residuary bequest – what is left of your estate once all other gifts and costs have been paid

  • A pecuniary bequest – a gift of a specific amount

  • A percentage bequest – a specific proportion of your estate

  • A bequest of assets – gifts of assets such as shares, property or real estate

We encourage you to seek legal advice and to consider your family and loved ones when writing your will. The following wording can be used as the basis for a gift to Homeless Healthcare in your will.

“ I give to Homeless Healthcare (insert the details of your gift) and I direct that the receipt of the Chair of Homeless Healthcare or a duly authorised officer of Homeless Healthcare shall be accepted as sufficient discharge by my Trustee/Executor.”

Please let us know if you have decided to leave a bequest to Homeless Healthcare so that we can keep you up to date with our programs and progress and invite you to see how our team works to help homeless people.

Thank you.
